From time to time I work with a woman who built her own at 17 and has played professionally for decades. As I square dance caller I am asked to work with live music once or twice a year and for many of those events we have built a band around Karen and her hammered dulcimer.
Thank you for sharing that. They are very cool instruments. I grew up square dancing, good to see folks still doing it! :)
