He was the executive director of the national airport in Little Rock and no prior arrests or run ins with the law. A clean record. He could have easily been questioned on his way to work, at work or just walk up to his door and ring his doorbell.
Sure. There are several examples of very bad raids by ATF/FBI and others. They are not the norm... yet.
The idea a comedian would be raided by SWAT because he showed an air gun on a table in video, is far from the norm.. at this time.

Do you know how long the investigation into Bryan Malinowski was ongoing before they raided him? It was months. He repeatedly flouted federal law at gun shows for months before the raid.
Was the raid necessary?

It was an example of Jack booted thuggery.
It was terrible Biden political theater, meant to intimidate.
