As in “Trump said” or “When Trump was president” or “Trump did” or “Things were great under Trump.” Or any variation of the foregoing.

Two things usually get my TDS sufferers going:
1-”Isn’t it horrible how President Trump is being politically persecuted by an unjust legal system?”
2-”Love him or hate him...he was still the best president since Ronald Reagan.”
One of those two is like catnip for a severe TDS simp.

If Trump was a dictator, he was the worst dictator ever, he never even jailed any journalists.
In my experience you don’t need to say anything at all.
TDS sufferers’ nerve endings are exposed and raw.

Well, when I’m told this or that is offensive I smile and say “You’re welcome!”
You see, people who spend so much time being offended, to the point that they try to be offended, are likely to be addicted to it. Such individuals are likely to only be able to be their twisted version of happy if the feel miserable for some because (I will not dignify it with a “cause”), so I can go on to explain that I’m helping them to be happy.
If I get that far I usually find some other way to offend them.
Whenever I hear the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance mentioned, I pipe up that that was where President Trump got his degree in Finance!
