Merck patented ivermectin in 1981.
Ivermectin (marketed as Mectizan®, Merck & Co Inc, Whitehouse Station, NJ) is an extremely effective and safe drug for mass treatment of onchocerciasis (“river blindness”).
Typical dosage for me and my wife is 16mg in TABLET form, not paste.
Since the FDA essentially outlawed it, we sourced tablets from overseas.
I’ve done the same thing. I ordered some from India, and I’m going to do so again here soon. It’s the one medicine I don’t want to ever run out of.
