Long before anyone had heard the word “Covid”, I was prescribed ivermectin (in a topical cream form) for rosacea, which I’d suffered from for 20+ years. Let me tell you — it took less than 3 weeks for my symptoms to clear, and I’ve been free of it for several years now, even after discontinuing the cream. So when I heard people talking about ivermectin for Covid, I was totally onboard. Look, there are multiple drugs that are initially used for one thing, and then discovered to be useful at treating others. Why was ivermectin shunned for this? There’s really only one logical answer: POLITICS!
