If it was truly a "prank" then there had to be some sort of a goal - a resolution to their actions that presumably would have ultimately resulted in humoring the subject of their "joke"? What was the ultimate goal of these two that night? If they are pranksters, then who were the "prankees"?
I find the simple "exploring" defense hard to believe...

Ping for a new article regarding the Boyce/Eldridge case of the "stoppered vial". (No mention of the OUBombing in this article).

Bolt-cutters had been used to open a hatch to the tunnel network, Kuykendall said. The men were charged Oct. 20.
Way too much effort for a stupid prank. More like stupid officals. The government in this country is going to bring it down with it's blindness and delusion. The only hope for it is at the grassroots level. Thank God for Free Republic where we can keep up on this stuff; otherwise we'd never know.

This explanation reminds me of all the times my students would say, "I was only joking!" when they said something rude to me or another student, or in fact, got caught doing virtually anything they thought they would get into trouble for. I told them that jokes were supposed to be funny, and I was the arbiter of funny in my classroom. If I found it not funny, it was not a joke, and they were in TROUBLE!

Interesting.
The other thread that you posted about this states that the Greenbriar Collective group was indeed questioned by the FBI.
Twice.

Christopher Thomas Boyce? I wonder if he's related to Christopher Boyce of "The Falcon and the Snowman", son of an FBI agent who betrayed the US back in the mid-70's? He also later escaped jail for about a year or so, and was caught in Washington State/Oregon I believe. He was paroled in 2003.

I think this is just a symptom of how much the Dims have controlled the media and the public does not act or think that we are at war. One would think that post 9-11 and there post OK City, people would understand that you just don't do such pranks in war time as they will be treated much more seriously than in peacetime.

Ya know, what's most bothersome is how time after time officials so quickly dismiss these highly suspicious activities at OU. As far as we know, it started with Nick Berg and his AQ buddies 2 years ago or perhaps as far back as Timothy McVeigh (notice neither are named Mohammed), so who knows what all else hasn't made the papers.

Puzzling. Just wanted to explore the tunnels? Then why steal a vial? Why was it empty? Did they empty it at some point? Or were they bringing the vial into the building?

Thanks for the ping,Liberty. Not sure if I pinged you a few weeks ago when this came out (before any media or defense lawyers said anything about tunnel exploring..lol..could it be they read Freeper's and we gave them a defense?..lol) Here is the link I posted a few weeks ago:
