Don’t you just love the media’s use of inflammatory adjectives?”
Has the press called John Edwards 20,000 Ft2 place a “compound”?

I hope the authorities will be patient and not make this another Waco that was under clintin and reno.

This seems more like Ruby Ridge under Bush I/William Barr.

Multiple courts have rejected their argument. Lo and behold, they got convicted. They got sentenced to 5+ years in prison.Knowing who owns the courts, and where the judges get their paychecks, what's your point?

"As much as I agree with them, begging for martyrdom is more than just a little stupid." These two have set out to make an example of themselves, and seem destined to succeed.

Isn't the width of a standard concrete block about 8 inches?
So, I guess I live in a "compound" also. Come and get me coppers!!

“Yes but breaking the law isnt the way to do it”
Why not? I have always lived by and raised my kids by this:
There are 3 ways to react to laws/rules you don’t like.
1. obey them and whine
2. disobey them and face the consequences.
3. work to change them
NOONE is obligated to obey any law they feel is unconstitutional. You just have to answer for your actions.
I wish there were more people in this country who were willing to stand up for what THEY believe is right.
Nuts or not!

My ideal solution if I were running the show.
Stop wasting money surrounding these nutjobs who clearly want a confrontation. Allow local cops keep an eye on them and they’ll eventually expose themselves to an easy confrontation free arrest.
Eric Rudolph is a good example. After spending millions on faild attempts to find and capture him, a local cop stumbles across him and arrests him without incident.

I forgot, the courts are in on the conspiracy, right?
To: LouAvul
This is almost funny. A good size home, and the owners have guns, therefore it is a compound!!
I am having flashbacks of Waco, Ruby Ridge.

I agree. Wait ‘em out. They aren’t a danger to the community so no need for a raid or siege.
To: cripplecreek
I agree, and hope their point is made. That is clearly what they wanted to do. I don’t think they will fire a shot, but I cannot say the same about the government unfortunately.

From behind the 8-inch concrete walls of their 110-acre hilltop compound, ... Public school grad?
How hard can it be to get over an 8 inch wall?
If a goat can do it so can a law enforcement employee...oh never mind.

Don't you just love the media's use of imflammatory adjectives? More like conditioning the public for when the feds move in. Normal modus operandi for the feds.
