A horrifying threat has surfaced in the fight West Africans are waging against the epidemic of Ebola dogs digging up corpses of virus victims and feasting on the remains, then carrying the infection with them wherever they go next.
A recent report in the Mail Online in the U.K. said villagers in Liberia were complaining dogs were found digging up the corpses of Ebola victims buried in shallow graves and eating them in the street.

Maybe that’ll get the attention of the adopt-a-pet NGOs, and we’ll see more flights from Ebola countries—pet flights.

This is like a bad movie.
How can one country be so incompetent?
Burn'em or bury them deeper, dumb shits!
Also, feed the dogs.

We don’t bury people in shallow graves. Africa, yes. USA, no.

Ha.
pEta and the HSUS will *use* this as an excuse to start a pogrom against pet dogs.
They’re just waiting for a reason to kill every pet we have.

The obvious answer is to bury their dead in such a way as to prevent animals from digging them up. Basic common sense. I’d suspect other wild animals of being responsible before dogs, particularly hyenas which are known for such.
If they’re so overwhelmed with the death toll from ebola that they can’t bury their dead properly, then they need to begin burning the corpses.
To: Salamander
This is a Muslim’s wet dream, mass slaughter of dogs. I really do not trust these accounts. There is no documented instance of ebola being transmitted from a dog. None. That FReepers are jumping on the bandwagon makes it even more bizarre.
