This is a brilliant essay by Schlichter.
He thinks the left has pushed us beyond the point of any possibility of returning to normal.
It’s like the run-up to the Civil War. Right up until Fort Sumter, people thought reconciliation and return to normal was possible. Then the primer was lit.
Best part about the article… Trump was their best chance, gun control, masking, all under his leadership. Would have continued. He is still telling his supporters to get vaccinated. We have no bumpstocks, and we let a bunch of non violent repeat offenders out of prison. Crime virtually stopped because of these two things. Let’s not forget the poor Syrian rapefugees.
I’ve always been the guy who’d run into the flames to save anyone, but they said I was the problem with the world. Today, I will only watch the flames. Tomorrow, I’ll be the one with the flamethrower.
I take it this is where a lot of good men are at.
