I think this should be done sparingly. But in this case the administration’s prewar statements were so strange and contradictory I have a hard time thinking any good came as a result

There is a lot of disinformation and clickbait out there. You have to use discernment. Whatever sources you are using, you have to read between the lines, consider their point of view, consider what makes sense. Consider the evidence of your eyes… but not entirely. And watch the map. Watching the map day by day tells you a lot. But even that is hard to find.
For me, it keeps coming back to, which army is on which side of which border, and whose army is pounding whose cities into rubble.
I stopped paying attention after the Ghost f Kiev thing.
