I call them radiators - or fin blade heaters. I love mine. You set it and just let it go night and day. Never turn them down at night as it costs more to warm them up then just to let them stay constant......I know I tried both ways over a winter season. So you never have a cold morning to wake up to. Just wonderful! They are oil filled - the heaters heat the oil until a certain temp then shut off while the oil sustains the heat until cools a bit then automatically adjusts. My landlord was so impressed he put one in the basement laudry room.....and my son put one in his bathroom that was over a garage so colder than the rest of the house. They're not expensive either...about 50 -60 dollars to purchase.

Without fertilizer to help grow lots of food. It’s a pretty good prediction. With no gas coming from Russia ( which Trump warned about) it’s a hood prediction

Since Russia will not be delivering gas to the Germans or other Europeans plan on no heating. Unless they go in green and start chopping the forests now

Mine is the oil version....sustains the temp longer before it adjusts again.

I tried several various heaters but these BY FAR work the best. Next thing to wood stove heat....the heat radiats so well.

I have carpeting so I put a silver tray underneath them....picked up at a thrift store. It also radiates the heat.

Well then they need another alternative as a backup. I’ve lost electric here a couple times in winter over the years. My back up is two sterno cup table top grills - that just takes the edge off before the elctric is restored, also candles.

BTW a good back up would be a kerosene heater.....my son used one to heat his entire home during a winter to cut his heating bills. I just don’t like messing with that fuel.

“He stating that people will starve and freeze to death. Is it happening?”

No, it is not, since winter has not arrived in Europe yet, which he specifies as the triggering of events he predicted.

The starvation he predicted would be caused by the cessation of fertilizer production and will take the loss of a growing season to materialize.

Maybe you should read more carefully, and it will be hard to find any person who will come to any other conclusions. Macron a few weeks ago advised his nation that the era of abundance was over and even water was one of the commodities he mentioned.

FreshPrince :" Yeah I remember the talk this spring how farmers are not planting....well they did."

Yeah, they did because they still had to make payments on the land taxes and pay for their machinery
Many farmers failed to 'side dress' their crops during the growing season, and suffered a reduced crop, which means less income
Also drought has just about decimated the cotton crop, and many other converted their crops to soybeans so as to have some/any short season to harvest and meet their bills
Farmers are one of the worlds oldest profession - gambling the season's crop against Mother Nature,
it is hard enough to bring in a paying crop, it is much more difficult to do so without fertilizers or seed crops.
The bills just don't wait,.. they only increase !

Wal-mart has them and so does Lowes and other places. I’ve had digital and manuel but prefer manuel as once the digital gets wacky there’s no fix to it.

I haven’t seen much difference between the more expensive ones and the cheaper ones....I think the number of blades makes a difference. I run two in my whole apartment and does the job very well. In fact it’s not until temps drop into the 20’s and below I even need the second one.

You won’t regret getting one. The couple who lived next to me was getting hit hard with high electric heating bills so I share what I used......HA! They went and got two for their place - costs went way down and they were cozy night and day.

Yes like those....mine I got at Wal-mart....and Lowe's.

I do recommend the manual ones over the digital. The digital one I got went funky after a year and half. Never had issues with the manual ones.

Actually the first one I got was at a rummage sale for $12. that thing ran over seven years! So they don't seem to wear out. If you go to Lowe's you can get an extended replacement warranty....I think it's for three years so defiantly get it if you go digital.

it is hard enough to bring in a paying crop, it is much more difficult to do so without fertilizers or seed crops.

Or fuel to run their tractors.

I know a few farmers who are leaving some of their fields unharvested, because the price they would get from selling it is less than the cost of diesel to harvest it with.

You can get fans that come with their own tiny solar panel. I see them a lot, usually lumped in with poultry supplies.

Ohhh so only if and when and if a crop fails....

Thats not what he is saying..:

It’s too late. There’s going to be famine, and the question is, ‘How big and how many people are going to get hit?’”

There should be freezing and starving THIS WINTER,......

I just heard on RFDTV.com that Canadian farmland has increased in value just this year by 8%.
That's a heII of a way for a farmer to keep up with inflation,.. by selling out !
In Europe, they have had over 2,000 outbreaks of avian influenza which has resulted in more than 50 Million poultry culled from their flocks.
