It's quite believable. The "elite" think we rubes are so stupid we'd
never notice that every time things quieted down a bit, the media was suddenly full of stories about the "new variant."
The irony is how seriously stupid they are to think we would fall for that.

Said it in December 2019. Obama defunded hyperviralization in 2014ish. Too dangerous. So where did those funds go… China. Equipment. Research capabilities.
