More than 2,100 Oklahoma women received abortion services in Kansas and Colorado last year after Oklahoma banned nearly all abortions, according to new state reports that provide a look at the impact of patchwork abortion laws.
A new report from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment shows that 2,026 Oklahoma residents received an abortion in that state in 2022, up from 137 in 2021. In Colorado, 198 Oklahomans received abortions last year, up from 12 in 2021, according to that state’s Department of Public Health and Environment

I guess it’s too much to ask those woman to keep their legs closed huh?
Oh the humanity! It’s buying firearms that should be complex and inconvenient; killing your babies should be simple and uncomplicated. How about a drive through?
“Thousands?” Too stupid to use widely available birth control?
How nice, they can go to Colorado and purchase legal marijuana and get stoned before they kill their baby. Maybe that will make them more oblivious to what they are doing!
And an increase of 15% in Oklahoma using contraception.
WOW! The distances some women won’t go to so they can murder their baby. I keep thinking that some folks, even if they don’t believe in God or His judgement should get down on their knees every night and pray there is no Hell.
Apparently it’s too much to ask them to refrain from hiring a hit-man to chop their babies up into little bloody gobbets of shredded flesh and bone ...
Just think if someone planned ahead and took measures to prevent the occurence and not needing to go to Kansas or Colorado. Weird I know..................
Drive hundreds of miles to kill that baby. Those women are evil.
50+ years of state sponsored sex ed in government schools and the concept of birth control still seems out of reach.
Supplemented by the insidious lie that abortions are as medically safe as getting one’s teeth cleaned. Along with the propaganda that babies are not babies, of course.
If the media made a genuine effort to research and publicize the real stats on abortion injuries, deaths, short & long term complications - physical and psychological; and that info was properly taught in the sex ed classes, that could make a difference.
If a woman believes that aborting a healthy baby is a convenience, one wonders just how much she is willing to sacrifice for the children that she does give birth to and is tasked with raising. Give up conveniences to raise your children properly? Novel concept.
So.... Oklahoma says 5,900 abortions took place in 2021. Guttmacher (Planned Parenthood’s research org) says closer to 10,000. But only 2,000 took place in 2022. Sounds like this is 65 to 80% successful!
Thousands just from Oklahoma?
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a drive-thru "procedure":
Glad to hear these folks finally figured what causes pregnancy.
Impossible. The left says we banned abortion.
Is that really too much of a burden on someone who wants to kill a baby?
Yahoo is upset. I look forward to the time when yahoo is screaming in anguish and contemplating suicide.
Yahoo are hateful people and they need to suffer emotional misery constantly.
IUDs are at least 95% effective (some studies - 99%).
Why does any woman (over age 18) expose herself to the medical risk and emotional trauma of a surgical abortion when pregnancy prevention is so simple and relatively safe?
In my (male) mind, why does personal self-interest NOT prevent at least 95% of abortions?
