Children’s Hospital Colorado has stopped performing sex change surgeries on patients over 18, but will still assist with referrals,...
Hospital spokeswoman Rachael Fowler reportedly said they never performed sex change surgeries on patients younger than 18, but patients can still receive puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones at the facility,

A Denver woman was reportedly hoping her child, who identifies as a boy, would be able to get a mastectomy before going to college,
...
“I think he’s going to be very disappointed,” she said. “He was so looking forward to this.” The hospital has also scrubbed its website of mention of “gender-affirming care” after receiving online harassment,

“Children’s hospitals across the country have been directly threatened as a result of the gender-affirming care provided in their institutions,” Fowler said. “We have taken steps as an organization to protect the safety of our team members, patients and families.”

Oklahoma Children’s Hospital told the Daily Caller in September it would stop performing “certain gender medicine services” on minors after the state legislature’s Conference Committee approved a bill restricting their ability to perform sex changes on minors.
Hospitals and medical centers exposed for performing transgender operations on gender-dysphoric minors have rushed to memory-hole publicly available information on their websites. The trend has occurred as backlash intensifies against these hospitals for performing sex change surgeries on kids. Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Children’s National Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital have edited or deleted portions of their website after reports.
As the parent of a trans child, I can attest that there is no medical rationale to transition children...ever.
The Black Market will profit from this, if the demand is there (and this is a big IF).
This woman is a kook, a danger to her girl. She should be locked away and her girl placed with a Godly foster family.
The only person here who needs surgery is this kooky woman. She needs a headectomy or a permanent neck stretching.
TRU DAT !
Here is a great short vid that discusses and well explains why this mania will be so hard to stop.

SHE, momidiot...SHE.
When I was young, I wanted to climb a tree and jump to fly like a bird. Dad called me dumb and that pretty much ended that. Try it and get your daughter back...
Probably fear of law suits by victims.
Butchery might not be as profitable as they thought.
In a sane world, private charitable donations would dry up for these monstrous experimental horror factories ...

Because the community is waking up and taking steps to protect their own from people like you.
That has to be hard on you and your family. You have my compassion.
This is appalling.
Psycho mom was so looking forward to it.
I don't wish to be nosy, even though you brought it up. But if there is anything we online FRiends can do, please tell us, knowing that conservatives are not going to be supportive of indulging pronouns, much less the medical part. There will be a**holes around here; but some of us will attempt to listen and learn.
Let me share that I knew a little girl 20 years ago who was absolutely determined to present as a boy, wear boys' haircuts and clothing, and have a boy's nickname. It was before the schools had gone mad; so the school counselor, the therapist and the family worked out compromises with her, i.e. "we will call you that nickname and go with you to get a short haircut and pick out unisex clothes for school, but for the girls' charity event, you will dress like the other girls or you will lose privileges." This kind of thing seemed to work out because there was very little peer pressure or propaganda back then, and her parents were overall calm and non-shaming with her, without affirming her self-rejection.
Whoa! She went through puberty, sprouted hips and boobs, and look out! Boy crazy! Lipstick! Nail polish! A couple of years ago she married a manly man after living with him for a few years. It was a beautiful wedding, and they are doing well. If you meet her now, you would never, ever guess how far into her head trip she had been.
I often think how it all may have turned out differently had this happened today, when counselors are forbidden to use common sense, and teachers and peers are cheering on the cultural rebellion.
There are a few rare medical conditions which give rise to gender dysphoria. They include Klinefelters, Jacob’s, Kallman’s, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Non-Classic Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, and hyperthyroidism. Some folks also suggest PCOS.
Not everyone affected by these conditions will experience dysphoria (making the total number even smaller).
It is statistically impossible for all these kids to be trans.
When gender dysphoria is endocrine based, it means that the body is producing too many sex hormones. In the case of my child, she overproduced free-floating adrenal androgens (the precursor to sex hormones). The adrenal receptors in the brain recognized them as testosterone, so when she hit puberty, she developed as a boy (facial and body hair, musculature, deep voice, etc.). She didn’t need outside interference; she was masculinizing naturally.
Because she hit puberty early (a symptom of her condition), her system had years to wire her neural pathways to a masculine brain (see Dr. Niroa Shah on masculine and feminine brain development) before we got to the heart of the matter.
Most children with endocrine disorders and gender dysphonia will find it subsides once they finish puberty and the endocrine system settles down. Only a rarer few will be dysphoric for the rest of their lives. Sadly, my child is one of them. At 20, she chose to present as a male.
That is why I say there is no medical reason to transition children. Unless there is an underlying medical condition, then it’s mental. They need therapy, not hormones and surgery.
I believe I see what you’re saying... there are people who are genuinely, biologically in between genders or sharing elements of both; but for those where disphoria is mainly psychological, surgery won’t fix what seems broken.
God bless your daughter and you with “the peace that passeth understanding.”
