Former President Donald Trump scored his largest lead yet against President Biden Sunday in a new NBC poll, as voters gave the incumbent poor marks across the board.
Trump, 77, notched a 47% to 42% lead over Biden, 81, with registered voters, marking an increase from his 46% to 44% edge recorded in a November poll from the outlet.
“This is the biggest lead NBC has ever had in 16 polls for Donald Trump over Joe Biden,” NBC’s political correspondent Steve Kornacki told “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
NBC has conducted polling on Trump vs. Biden for roughly five years. Historically, Biden has had the edge over his predecessor, but that started to shift last year.
Last July, Biden touted a 49% to 45% lead over Trump, but by September they were dead even at 46%. Then in November, Trump jumped ahead.
The latest poll sampled 1,000 registered voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points and was taken from Jan. 26 to 30.
When third-party candidates were added to the mix, Trump’s edge expanded to six points, dispatching Biden 41% to 35%, with a Libertarian candidate nabbing 5%, Green Party getting 5%, and No Labels notching 4%. ***

There must be a name for that state of mind in which both confusion and gullibility have reached their highest measure.

In any case, it’s the same state of mind experienced by any individual who gives consideration to these polls.
I have never been able to figure out why Vermont votes for socialist reprobates while it’s neighbor, New Hampshire ,elects moderate, and sometimes even slightly right candidates.

You tell me. Bernie in his earlier heyday actually took his brand new first ex-wife out to live the simple life. In the woods. In a cabin. A cabin with a dirt floor.
Never had a real job other than dog catcher or something similar (like Joe Biden and life guarding while ogling little children.)
It’s going to be a nail biter. Biden had $117 million to spend at the end of the year. Trump had $33 million. Trump has spent $50 million on legal fees.
Just before their convention Biden will be replaced with Whitmer. Newsom will be VP. That’s my prediction.

Without God’s intervention to stop the Demon Rat (and the GOP establishment) from continuing the degradation of this nation, you can forget what polls say.
Or maybe it would be more fitting to say that it will be voter fraud...or the lack of it...in those states that will decide.
And yes,it would be unwise for anyone to bet the grocery money on The Big Guy being the Rat Party's nominee.

Perhaps campaign donations should be spent on ….campaigning.
As a matter of probity, Trump should have set up a separate fund for his criminal and civil cases.

I would add NC and VA to your list. Both could go either way.
NC seems pretty safe to me...and with all those damn recipients of huge government paychecks in northern VA my guess that it’s pretty safe for The Big Guy. But I did forget to mention NV...I’ve seen it suggested that it could go to DJT.
