Post 9/11, Neocons (i.e., most conservatives) were all for crushing civil liberties because the FBI was going after "Muzzies."

They are doing the same thing to Trump supporters and people who went to DC on January 6. The fbi has become the political arm of the political class. We don't need a powerful law enforcement organization that protects corrupt politicians while it uses lies and deception to destroy their opponents.
