My ancestors settled here in Michigan in the 1800s and I was born here. In 2020 I was part of the Trump primary victory and the vital 10,400 vote margin to win Michigan in November, 2020. Out of millions.
I just cannot believe Trump could be ahead in these polls.
I realize outside my 4 county southeastern region there are good people outstate but so many in the state are consummately evil and will vote Dem all the way all the time.
Example: Aside from Biden carrying Michigan and the governor, sec. of state, AG and the state House and the state Senate and both US senators (for decades now), when Proposal 3 was on a peitition drive (full unfettered abortion rights)
the petition signatures were quickly secured in record time:
“Detroit News,Lansing — A ballot committee seeking to enshrine the right to abortion in the Michigan Constitution turned in 753,759 signatures Monday, a record amount that exceeds the state-mandated signature tally by more than 300,000.”
“Proposal 3 provides for a state constitutional right to reproductive freedom defined as “the right to make and effectuate decisions about all matters relating to pregnancy, including but not limited to prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, contraception, sterilization, abortion care, miscarriage management, and infertility care.”
Then the proposal passed
2,482,382 to 1,898,906 (56.66% Yes, 43.34% No) in November, 2022.
I go a long time between running into another good person. Lost of bad Dems around.
Example: I was checking out books including one by Ted Cruz at Barnes and Noble. The elderly clerk said in a whisper “I like to see someone still likes the right side.” Then “I have to keep quiet because I could get canceled here. All the staff is on the Left but me.”
Mass deportations sounds like a super idea.
Is it doable, though? I don’t mean logistically. But politically.
Or will it be like “Build the Wall”?
What a country. / sarc
