Reminds me of Sen John Glenn (D) on the Whitewater panel investigating the Clintons. Glenn fought every accusation and evidence that was presented tooth and nail. Then, lo and behold, right after that, he got to go to space again! What a guy, what a hero!
Glenn was also one of the corrupt bank protectors. They had a name for the group that prevented justice for corruption.
