From what I have seen, the Columbia thing isn't anti Isreal, its downright antisemitic. A jewish student at Yale got stabbed in the eye.

Something is very, very wrong in the Ivy League.

Maybe some of these millionaires/billionaires should use that money to effect wholesale changes at those Universities, but don't hold your breath.

It is of course driven by anti-Zionist sentiment.

And yes, the hate is spilling over.

That and the illegal protesting shouldn’t be tolerated at all.

These Colleges may have met their match with today’s radicalism - it’s no longer that tolerable anti-war stuff, it’s full blown terrorist hate.

I’m sure Columbia has vilifying whites and Christians for decades. Apparently, Kraft didn’t have a problem with that.

Yale shut down the protests. Columbia is weak.

It's not just the Ivy League that there is a problem, the entire "Higher Education" system is affected. There are some small pockets of sanity but Colleges and Universities are mostly crazy

โ€œI am no longer confident that Columbia can protect its students and staff

Mighty bold statement, losing his confidence in Colombia protecting its Jewish students the day after they publicly state that they effectively cannot protect their Jewish students.

New England Patriots team owner Robert Kraft was quite willing to support Marxist, anti-white dogma from Columbia University, and now acts surprised when it’s turned on him.

My mother’s aunt, 1899-1977, who was raised in Washington Heights, graduated from Columbia Teacher’s College. Even back in the 1970’s she made a clear distinction between the teachers college and “Columbia”.

The schools get greedy and take subversive foreign students by the container ship full for their full fare tuition plus bennies like a Confucius Institute or Saudi Studies Institute. Then they act surprised when this 5h*t happens. Puhleeeeze.

Maybe some of these millionaires/billionaires should use that money...

To support trade schools and offer scholarships to same for kids who don't have what it takes for college or the financial resources to afford them.

Nephew's son, not a candidate for college, paid $39,000 to attend the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology about two years ago. A nine month, full time training program that netted him many job offers as soon as he graduated.

He was fortunate, in his junior year of high school, they offered an after school welding program for the interested students and he loved it.

His original plan was to head out west with his cousin, who is a welder at Ford, and get a job working on the Keystone XL pipeline. But that was shattered when Biden shut it down.

I would not be surprised if half of Columbia’s alumni contributions are from Jewish alumni. The Ivy League administrators are morons. They have allowed this rot to set in. Others have observed that Middle Eastern countries send that poorly prepared students paying full freight. When you see a news item that tuition room and board is $90,000/yr that’s the sticker price. No one pays sticker price except ME princelings whose older brother inherits the kingdom, and they get to go Harvard for Dummies, and maybe get a Chalet in Switzerland to stash a few wives in.

These schools have deep endowments. They can survive a downturn for years.
