I think this good doctor was perhaps somewhat naive or cloistered not to expect heavy pushback reactions to her report. Maybe it’s better she wasn’t too media savvy.
Most doctors wouldn’t have issued such a report at all because they would be afraid of the loonies obsessed with all things Trans.

Calling outright lies “disinformation” is part of the problem and it not only affects this issue.
Society can’t handle truth so they keep changing words so as to not offend or desensitize the issue.
