China has a US foothold already. They already have inserted a couple of divisions worth of military aged males through our southern non-border. Raising some hell here would distract us from Taiwan.

Keep in mind that The Chinese military is made up of the sole child of a family. Not only that, being in the military is not a “good” job so it is made up of some of the weakest members who have no combat experience.
