The kind of day you enjoy - - cool and cloudy. A little more rain would have been nice but two out of three ain’t bad. :-)
It was cloudy here, too, but didn’t rain until this evening. There were a few thunderstorms scattered here and there but nothing severe. Might get a little more in a few hours from the wave that’s moving into west TN now.
Yes, and since it was cool and dampish, it might keep that rain we had from evaporating too quickly. Tlhat is a plus!
I hope the storms don’t get too bad, and I hope you get some of the lightning you love to take pictures of!
Yesterday at Comanche Lake:
How's everyone doing this morning?
Yes, if there’s some humidity in the air, it’ll slow down the evaporation a little. I imagine your lawn’s happy after the double watering yesterday.
Nothing severe in the round of rain coming through tonight. Tuesday and Wednesday have severe weather threats though.
It WOULD be nice to get a few good lightning shots. :-) It’s been a while.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
It looks like you and Gizmo had a good outing yesterday. Cloudy skies but you had sun shining on you.
As you can see, our area is now in the Level 4 or Moderate risk. A lot of the internet, radio and TV weather forecasters are saying this could be a major outbreak later today.
So, we'll see what happens.
"Numerous severe thunderstorms are expected to develop and move eastward Monday afternoon through Monday night across parts of the southern/central Plains. Multiple intense, long-track tornadoes, very large to giant hail, and severe/damaging winds all appear likely."
The rain was a blessing, because our city water has so many chemicals in it, I just know it can’t be good for plants. It tastes like crap. LOL!
I can’t believe how much rain you have gotten this year already. Your yard must look like the tropics. 🪴🌳
Yes, I’ve seen the forecasts and it doesn’t look like a fun day ahead. All we can do is hope things don’t get as bad as they expect.
Yeah, rain is a lot better than city water any day. Nasty stuff, that is.
I’ve had around 6 inches of rain each month so far this year. Only had 5 inches in Feb. When I mention there was rain, it isn’t always a lot. Yesterday was an inch. Tonight was .1.
But the place is very green, no doubt. And this time last week, the corn was maybe 2 inches tall and now it’s close to a foot. It’s very happy with the rain we’ve gotten.
It’s not going to be long before you have that wall’o’corn that you love to muffle all the train/car noises. That’ll be nice. Till it causes allergies. LOL!
I think I’m going to finish up this show and head out. I’m getting really sleepy now. I got up before the alarm. What was I thinkin’! See ya tomorrow!
I’m looking forward to that beautiful wall of corn. It’ll be a little rough when it pollinates but that doesn’t last long, unlike cotton.
Sleep well and sleep late. I’m not far behind ya.
Good morning everyone
This insane BS has to be part of the plan to EXPOSE the pervasive INSANITY in the DOD, Pentagon, Uniparty thatwe have to get rid of like yesterday!
