Not any brighter than I was at age 10; marching around the school for the teachers strike. We had no clue what the strike was about, had no clue what girls were about, so sex and the reason to protest were not in our minds. we just wanted to be cool. at age 10 .
SMH....They want their “ I was there “ merit badge”.
Sometime ago I saw a video on youtube where a man was asking people to sign a petition to eliminate woman’s suffrage. Most people would sign it but once in a while someone actually knew what it meant and would not sign it and started arguing with the man. So yes most people go along with the crowd. It starts in school with peer pressure and the really dumb ones just go along never questioning why. I’m sure that if enough people were jumping off a cliff they would also do it.
They’re brainwashed to certain words one of them is “Protest” just like The Manchurian Candidate ,LOL
I read a great book by Elias Cannetti “Crowds and Power”
It explains a great deal. That, among other things, people do and say things in a crowd that they would never say or do, individually.
Crowds can be manipulated and motivated (easily) by unprincipled and evil people. It reminds me of the expression, “Small dogs run in big packs’.
What they are doing is obeying their masters.

I find it hard to beleive that they don’t know that the protest is about Jew-Hatred- just as I’d find it hard to beleive that students who joined protests calling for the eradication of black people back in the day.
They hear the hateful chants of the hate-filled palestinians, and they readily join in on the chants. One can’t say that “Israel should be exterminated” and not know that to go along is to declare their own hateful antisemetic feelings. The rage on their faces as they scream the hate rhetoric tells it all.
They may not know why hamas is engaged in their pathetic campaign of taquiya, but they know full well the hate speech that they are spouting.
Reminds me of the old Li’l Abner comic strip from 1968 in which the Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything (S.W.I.N.E.) take over the campus.

I still get a thrill remembering how the leader of the S.W.I.N.E. used his front teeth to assault the brass knuckles of the mob enforcers. Who says brass won’t make a spark! These did. Big ones at that!
