Trump needs to make two debate demands. Both are, I think, very reasonable.

1. No earpieces. You’re debating your opponent, not his campaign staff.
2. Each candidate gets to pick one panel questioner of his choice.

That debate will only occur if the WH machine believes it needs a nation-wide public example with which to replace Biden at the last moment.
