You're the one living in a fantasy world.

The Russians intentionally decided to go with a slow, war-of-attrition, meat grinder approach. Why? Because 1) it saves lives and 2) they have huge advantage in ammo and missile production.

Ukraine is losing ground daily, at a much faster rate recently. That will continue until Russia controls everything east of the Dnieper river.

Actually Russia's war of attrition is a war against their own army and people. The Ukrainian countryside is littered with destroyed Russian armor and trucks, and the bodies of dead Russian men.

When Ukraine loses ground the ground is covered with rotting dead Russian bodies.

How does that help the ordinary Russian?
