I guess this is where the Left has brought us with their insane de-criminalization of crime ranging from the abolition of bail and legal shoplifting to demonizing law enforcement and defunding them.

Now, we see a story about a woman on a street to drag, strangle, and rape a woman on a street, and my first thought when I read the story was not how outlandish and vile it was, but...

"Why did they have to bowdlerize the word 'rape'?"

I can see I wasn't the only one who felt the same way. It is a strange world we inhabit today.
