Orthodox Activists in Russia Bought All Units of LGBT Books to Burn Them with Church's Blessing

Employees of the Citizens' Rights Protection Center of the party "Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth!" handed over LGBT literature to Father Gennady at Alexander Nevsky Church. We remind that representatives of the local branch of the party bought the remaining circulation of books with LGBT propaganda in "Chitay-gorod" (bookstore) at the request of ministers of the Nizhniy Tagil Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church. According to unofficial information, a total of five thousand copies of "non-traditional" literature were sold in Nizhny Tagil.

As "It's My City" and "Between the Lines" elaborate, the books in question are "In the End They Both Die" by Adam Silver, "Leah: Life Not by Notes" by Becky Albertalli, "Summer in a Pioneer Tie" by Elena Malisova and Katerina Silvanova, "Harvard Square" by Andre Asiman, "Days of Our Lives" by Mikita Franco, and "River of My Regrets" by Medina Mirai. All are labeled 18+.

"Real Tagil" quoted Alexander Mishin, a representative of Just Russia. He suggested that the books would be burned in a crematorium:

"We think that after that there will be no more new imports and sales of such literature, at least openly. Both the Nizhny Tagil diocese and patriotic movements are working with us, on behalf of which appeals to the prosecutor's office regarding these materials will be prepared. In the near future we plan to visit the remaining bookstores, buy the last copies, and then decide on the date of disposal. The place has not yet been chosen - perhaps it will be a crematorium, so it would be easier to throw it all in one place and burn."

Amen, a much higher moral ground, good to see Russia as a nation does not allow gay marriage, boys in girls bathrooms, men in woman’s sports, LGXYZ’s in government or public positions, etc….Ukraine on the other hand, as the West, seems to be intent on moral suicide.

Pornography and homosexuality were illegal under Stalin and his successors. Initially, the Bolshevik Revolution was sexually libertine, for the purpose of leveling the Tsarist institutions and the Russian Orthodox Church. However, the Bolsheviks backed away from permissiveness after seeing the effects on society. The cultural revolution was more associated with the defeated Trotskyite wing of the Communist Party.

To attribute this crackdown on perversion to revised Christianity forgets that Soviet policy, and that of other Communist countries, was opposed to globohomo.
