I’m so sorry to hear this. I remember when my own dear brother died: two years ago now.
I remember the anguished days that passed before his eventual death. Waking up each morning to renew the burden of anxious care. The moments of hope. The final bad news.
I am weeping. May God bless both you and your brother.

Just to share a personal story if somehow it relates to yours. Last July I spent time with my younger brother who was going through a stressful time and challenges. We spoke on the topic of faith and trusting in the Lord. I know he did but he had some doubts in not seeing some answers to prayers. Right there I put my arms around him and prayed that God would bring him answers and remedies to his troubles. One month later and after a short illness he was gone. Sad that he’s gone from this life but I have peace that God answered that prayer by releasing him into Heaven , the ultimate eternal reward graduation.
Prayers for your brother. In Jesus’ Name I Pray. Amen.

I am very sorry to hear this news. I have a dear brother and sister and I would feel just like you do.
My prayers go up for you and your brother. I felt similar many years ago when my best friend, who I thought could/should be president of the USA, was cruelly taken by Melanoma. I sat at his bedside holding his hand and begging God to strike me dead and keep him alive. But God makes the plans not us.

I’m so sorry, LTGM. I lost an older brother, who was as yours, an amazingly kind and wonderful human being. I’m praying for him, for you and your family, that you will be comforted in the days to come.
Ahh, the not being able to be with him is a big part of your sadness. Been there done that. It makes it even more excruciating, I know you wish to be able to say goodbye in person. This isn’t a great solution, but maybe you could phone whoever is near him, and they could hold the phone up to him? He will likely still be able to hear even in his last breaths. Or maybe you could record a message? My heart goes out to you.

God let’s even the most wicked live (not that you are) in hope they will repent and be saved. You brother and your God would celebrate for all eternity your salvation to the Glory of the Lord.
