My father outlived both of his younger siblings. His sister went at a young age due to a firecracker incident, and his brother 16 years his junior died of a brain tumor. My father was devastated.

My prayers are with you. Just remember, he will be in the better place, so that should make you happy, not sad. Let the Lord into your life, and you will be rewarded. It's never too late my FRiend. 🙂

[Married with Children]

My maternal grandfather was in the same boat: outlived three brothers and two sisters (one sister died as a baby and one brother died in a fighter jet crash during Vietnam). He was the last to go but was the oldest or second oldest.

His female friend and companion (after my grandmother passed) lost her husband and three of her four children before she herself passed. I asked her how she managed to get out of bed each day. She said you just have to keep living. She was a wonderful and pleasant woman.
