The war cannot be the only priority, however.

When a nation is at war the war must be the first priority.

I do not agree with McCain on a great many issues but I do agree with him on the war.

I do not trust the Dims with the country while we are at war. The Dims simply have to many factions on their side pulling strings to end the war at any cost.

We may be able to pull McCain to the right. I do not believe we can pull Obama or Hillary far enough to the right to matter.

You remember correctly. These people trying to make you guilty for NOT voting for mccain are trying to rewrite history.

Don’t vote for McCain. He will find plenty of moderate and Hispanic voters to take your place.

So I keep hearing (hence, my tagline).

Either you believe the drivel you are spouting, in this instance, or you do not. If, in fact, you genuinely do: stop sniveling each and every time any given conservative (including this site's owner and founder: but you already knew that, of course) states, flatly: "Nuh-uh. Nope. Ain't happenin'."

... or, alternately: try publicly ordering JimRob to "quit trying to sabotage the John McCain's [sic] election," if you think you have the right amount of sack for the job. I'd love a little light dinner theatre, personally.

If you didn't want Obama, you should have done a better job of supporting conservatives in the republican primaries.

these guys were never going to fly.

Of course, you're here, which means you care about politics and the process, so you'll probably go out and vote.

As already previously (and repeatedly) stated, on these very boards: yes. ;) And, while I genuinely appreciate your attempt at providing an answer -- which, I hasten to add, is several leagues above and beyond what any Team Juan shill has ever provide (generally, all they ever really have to offer is spluttering and invective); so, again, many, many thanks -- it doesn't really explain why they care whether or not I vote for him, does it?

We've all already publicly stated that we'll be voting, for all practical intents and purposes: either for a third party candidate, or else vote down ticket and leave the top space blank. If all McCain's Flying Sycophant Squadron really cared about was our voting in the first place... then that, logically, would be enough to bring a final end to all the pro-McCain shrieking and blubbering hereabouts, in and of itself.

The fact that said tantrums continue unabated, nonetheless, suggests simple, spiteful ill will, in the final analysis: an swinish unwillingness to accept that principled conservatives -- after all due, deliberate consideration -- have reached a conclusion, re: what to do this 11/04, different from their own.

And that's just... well... pitiful, really.

"an swinish unwillingness " should read: "a sullen, swinish unwillingness"

Yeah, I bet you voted for Perot, also. Thanks for the Clinton years.

If there is ANY intelligence with the vote and they vote third party, then they have to almost be criminal in what they let happen.

McCain sucks IMO, but compared to Obama he is a Saint.

The issue of who picks the next three Supreme Court Justices is on the chopping block.
The Issue of massive tax increases and socialized medicine is on the line.
The war and cut and running would happen with Obama, and when he does that, he kills millions of Iraqis when radicals take over and kill all the people who did not support their terror.

The millions of lives on the line IMO alone should be enough to vote McCain.
The Justices alone should be enough to vote McCain.
The taxation issue alone should be enough to vote McCain compared to Barry Obama.

The third party - stay at home voters AKA Obama voters
didn’t even want the most conservative candidates running.
They had every excuse against them also.

Bottom line, they want to punish republicans but they forget, they also live in this country and will have to live with high taxes, left wing judges , a military that
will be decimated, the radical muslims who will have
the freedom to finish off their jihad.

They think there will be a next time to vote. Signs of a delusional mind.

What's worse is the third party voter helps kill millions in Iraq if they enable a Barry Obama to win.
If Democrats win, they cut and run.
When that happens, all that were not terrorist or their buddies get to be killed in Iraq and Afghanistan as punishment for not going with the terrorist crazies.

Third party voters can make that happen and would be IMO responsible for the ramifications of their votes.

I’ll take another G.W. Bush anyday.

It's called masochism.

McCain and Bush are hardly the same, but if you vote third party, you might as well have saved the gasoline spent going to the polls.

And if you vote for McCain, you might as well re-register as a Democrat. He thinks he can crap on the conservative wing and still win. Vote for him and prove him right.

We have to choose between worse and “worser.”

I am voting against “worser.” And I want my vote to count.

I've been doing that for the last 13 presidential elections, and by God, it HAS gotten worse.

Both parties shake the Ju-Ju doll at their base and warn of The End of Civilization if the Other Side takes over. I'm tired of playing that game and will still vote Pubbie if their bona fides warrant it, but I have had it with the RINOs.

There's a lot of folks around here who resort to bogeyman tactics every election. The best response is just to calmly reiterate that you vote for the best candidate, period.

McCain will not receive my vote. And I don't care how many people tell me that somehow a nonvote translates into a vote for Obama.

That’s fine. Your vote is yours to cast. My observation is that the worst RINO is infinitely preferable to any Democrat, now that Zell Miller has retired.

We need to do a better job in electing conservatives in the primaries. Then we wouldn’t have to hold our noses in November.

Upcoming defeat???

He can’t lose. He will be the next POTUS.

By the way, that is not what I want and I will never vote for him. It’s just reality.
