As I wrote you on another thread, it’s a free country: You are certainly welcome to go into the sanctity of the voting booth and vote third party or write-in Daffy Duck or even Ron Paul. But don’t come crying to me a year from now because of your taxes going up to pay for reparations, Muslim indoctrination in your kid’s schools, and the martial law that President Obama declared after the gun confiscation riots.

Considering the 3 potential probables, it is too late to cry.

We can only hope that Congress can block many of policies of whichever one wins. However, Congress is wrought with its own problems, self interest, pork barrelling, corruption.

Our country will survive Obama and McCain.

McCains base are RINO’s or as I like to refer to them, Socialist Republicans.

Conservatives, even those who are republicans owe McCain nothing.

McCain has stated that he doesn’t need our votes. I have no problem with that, but I get the feeling that his fellow travelers know better.

If McCain wants the conservative vote, he knows to find it and how to secure it.

We all need to stand firm and no longer allow the RNC to assume we have no where else to go.

There is no reason any conservative should at this point vote for him.

SCOTUS- He will have to reach across the ailse.

His allowing 15 million illegals in will add to the voting rolls of the DNC.

While Obama and Clinton say they will remove the troops they can’t and have admitted as much.

McCains amnesty plan will cost trillions, so he will have increase spending.

All in all I will at this time vote McCain.

He he wants my vote he knows how to find me.

If there is ANY intelligence with the vote and they vote third party, then they have to almost be criminal in what they let happen.

McCain sucks IMO, but compared to Obama he is a Saint.

The issue of who picks the next three Supreme Court Justices is on the chopping block.
The Issue of massive tax increases and socialized medicine is on the line.
The war and cut and running would happen with Obama, and when he does that, he kills millions of Iraqis when radicals take over and kill all the people who did not support their terror.

The millions of lives on the line IMO alone should be enough to vote McCain.
The Justices alone should be enough to vote McCain.
The taxation issue alone should be enough to vote McCain compared to Barry Obama.

I wished to respond to all of us, not just your view as expressed here, but to the wider larger dilemma. I see your opinion which I might express this way: What my father(393rd, 509th) was pointing out, before my birth and after, oh, 1948 I know, and then 1952, 1956, and 60, I recall Ike on TV in 56... and then I was pointing out in 1968 and 72, and so on, and finally, we had RR. But what have the Republicans done? More of the same, especially after GHWB won his election. A thousands points of light and more of the same, either party. Didn't the Bush family just purchase 200k acres in South America?

Put it this way: I have voted, bar 1980, when I voted LP, for Republicans across the board. But my heart tells me, that they are all doing the same thing and if I give them my vote, I am giving them my permission. And they are not the conservatives of my grandfather's(Rainbow Division, France, 1918) era, let alone my father. In the early 90s, he revealed to me that he had not thought of WWII as a skirmish, but he was beginning to see that we had won just that only to lose the battle as Kruschev(sic) said we would have do, from within.

Yes, I see a vast difference in the politics of the socialism and communism v a Constitutional Republic-anism.

However, I fail to discern much difference despite temporary respite of a few years of GOP Congressional majority. It is not enough to outweigh the entitlement socialism that existed since FDR, or, heck, since 1913.
Democrat? Republican? They are different, but now, how much are they really different?

I think you see my point. Will my vote in Missouri, elect Obama or not? If it will, then I must vote for McCain. But otherwise, and perhaps anyway, I am grown ill with voting for the lesser of two evils. Maybe, I should vote for him to hasten the “Fall”. Get it over with. I can tell you this much: I have never cast a vote for a Democrat(at any level, because I never want to see their FDR party infrastructure rebuilt (I have met the builder and broken the ridgepole...I shall never build that house again).

If this people, want it... [said Brutus, Romans, admonishing his own Senate, if indeed I can still call you that, you are forging the links in the very chains which Caesar will himself one day make you wear...]if this people want socialism it will be so—the country of liberals has raised three generations to promote it now. And it will last until the greater catastrophe and it will end.

If it is inevitable, and I think it is an “Extraordinairy Popular Delusion...” that is being enabled, then we will be forced to live with the insanity as it plays out and pick up what pieces are left — or — our government will turn it's forces to control us, in which case we have 1984 the fact having a public which no longer worried the fiction. I hear now, that whatever happens with a child alert, someone is supposed to call if they see or think they do, the abductor...so they can “feel” safer.

Now, wasn't it then, F-451 that had all citiZens go to the door to spot the fleeing criminal?

Best regards,
David
