Apparently you're not clever enough to submit a 'login' command in a batch script file with Administrator credentials? And then do your dirty work, and end with a deletion of log file entries, followed by a 'logout' command?

Sure - you can authenticate in a batch file with admin credentials...

But if you already have admin credentials, you can just log in with them and do what you want. The batch file isn't giving you any special powers...! Yikes.

I wonder how many hours some of these posters spent on their knees praying to Gaia, or their favorite god that Mike Lindell would fail. Did their hearts skip a beat when they heard that Mike was physically attacked last night and maybe . . . just maybe . . .

The idea is you run the task under the actual server administrator account, not your own AD account. That account is not going to be demoted, so it will still have permission to run a query later on, even when your own AD/SQL permissions are gone. It may seem to be of limited utility, but it’s still an exploit.

The point is that just because you have admin credentials today doesn’t mean you’ll have them tomorrow. People change admin passwords, if they are smart, on a regular schedule, and even if they are stupid, at least when employees that had access to those credentials are terminated.

Alright - *could* a developer create an extremely unsafe backdoor to allow an exploit in this unlikely scenario? Sure. You can create backdoors in any system. Just because I *could* build a papier-mache unicorn, does it mean there is one standing in my front yard?

This is exactly how the conversation went yesterday. I pointed out that if Dominion machines have developers creating backdoors like this, it would be discovered in a code security audit. That's the way real world software development works for applications with high profile security concerns.

So the individual I was conversing with said there was no way Dominion code was audited. So then I posted links to federal government documents published under Trump that contained a code audit of Dominion software.

So then the individual asserted that they may be audited, but that the code deployed was different than the audited codebase. At that point, I gave up.

And let's not lose sight of the fact, this mysterious batch file (whose contents have not been posted online - and I'm not counting someone scrolling over fuzzy text) is not what Lindell promised. This is a classic bait and switch.

Mike talked about it first thing but did not go into a lot of detail other than say that he is again forced to have body guards. He did say that he is ok, but is a bit sore.

He started this morning mentioning it and then moved on. Is it credible? Is his security detail aware? Were the police notified? Is there a ubiquitous smartphone video?

My guess is this won’t be mentioned again... much the same as all the promises he made prior to this symposium.

Well, if Mike lied about having packet captures that prove Chinese interference, and orchestrated an entire conference around that lie, is it that much of a stretch to imagine he might lie about being attacked by Antifa?

Why, because facts matter to me? I don't think you are despicable at all.

For a lot of people nowadays, there is no such thing as reality - just a womblike simulation where you only hear what you want to hear, and anything that disrupts your private matrix is fake.
