The way that article is written seems to imply Peters is the one at fault.
I highly doubt that.
Basically what was shown was that information was deleted during that "upgrade", in violation of law.
Peters gut instinct to image capture before the "upgrade" was a good one.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel is a well left of center newspaper. They have been critical of Tina Peters in the past, another target of their is Lauren Boebert. Mesa County is firmly conservative ... El Paso County (Colorado Springs) also falls into the conservative camp. Beyond that, especially on the front range of Colorado (Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, etc.) it's liberal.

The date/timestamp of the image copy the Clerk made of the machine will show what the data looked like just BEFORE the SOS (Sect'y of State, or Sack O' Sh[t) showed up when the Clerk was at the symposium.
