ROME — Pope Francis asserted Sunday that global warming is contrary to God’s plan and presents a significant risk to all “life on earth.”
“Besides war, our world is threatened by another great danger, that of the climate, which puts life on Earth, especially for the future generations, at risk,” the pontiff stated in a written text, which was read aloud by his aide Monsignor Paolo Braida following the weekly Angelus prayer.
“And this is contrary to the plan of God, who created everything for life,” he added.
Impelled by this apocalyptic distress, the pope said that next weekend he will “go to the United Arab Emirates to speak at the COP 28 in Dubai,” despite a lung infection that has forced him to miss several appointments over the weekend.

Francis knows absolutely nothing about climate
He also knows absolutely nothing about Catholicism.
He is ignorant of earth’s history. The earth’s climate has been changing since the creation. Humans can and will adapt to these changes.

The problem with all 3 of your comments is that you assume the Bible has value to papa Frank. You need to read about the Counter-Reformation and the Council of Trent, in which the RCC etched in stone their belief that truth can come from tradition as much as from Scripture (countering the Protestants' sola scriptura including within the Augustinian Order). That was at the same point they put the Jesuits in charge of educating the new clergy even though the Jesuits were a relatively new religious order within the RCC (i.e. Augustinian Order). Why did they put the Jesuits in charge? Because this new order was unashamedly supportive of papal primacy more than the other orders (again, countering the Protestants' complaints about the pope) to the point where papal supremacy tops even scripture.
Well, newsflash: papa Frank is a Jesuit. Scripture means less to him than the Constitution means to the Dims.
I'm hoping the good Catholics are having enough of this and they'll take the Jesuits out of control of the RCC.

That was the very reason he was selected. The Liberals were very afraid of Benedict and they could not wait to force him into retirement. Ratzinger was fully developed as a theologian and he understood that his first responsibility was to the flock he led. He was a sincere Catholic, not a gigolo for the political class.
