The GOP’s demand for enforcement of U.S. border law is a “partisan” threat to worldwide democracy, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said in a letter to the Senate.
“We cannot let partisan politics get in the way of defending democracy; that would be playing right into the hands of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and [China President] Xi [Jinping],” Schumer said in the November 26 letter describing his plans for December.

What really pissed the Democrat Party during the Civil War was that RepublicNs used their mass migration strategy against them and pumped up the Union Army with recruits from Europe, particular with the Irish and Scots. I have no doubt that when civil war 2.0 come to America that the Demoncrats will try to import the turd world to fight against Americans. It will be very ugly.
A group of six Republican and Democratic Senators are trying to come up with a bipartisan deal to break the back of the GOP’s plan to stabilize the border. Their deal may include cosmetic changes — additional border funding and some legal changes that preserve many of the administration’s many border loopholes.
“open borders equals democracy”
That’s the underlying rationale for them.
In their minds, since “all peoples is equals” then “all peeples is Americans” and they have the right to simply walk in and vote.
To them, immigration into the US is a civil right for the entire planet. Cuz democracy.
Wasn't just the Irish and the Scots. Entire regiments of German immigrants fought the South.
Here we go again. More psychobabble of Americans “threatening”
commie liberal “democrazy”. You gotta get a life Chucky. That crap is getting old.
Dear Chuck, I believe you have reached your personal level of the Peter principle. Follow me, please.
1) There are many cultures, nations, and governments that are not prepared to accept democracy. They lack the education, experience, and political competence to even attempt such a complex system of governing. In addition to this, the populace they rule over is poorly educated and in many scenarios, they are incapable of educational achievement beyond the rudimentary level.
2) The pointless exercise of exporting democracy has been tried many times, It has failed in every instance that it has been tried, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam, and numerous others come readily to mind as examples. The time and treasure of the United States has been squandered in every instance. Did I forget to mention Ukraine? This is a nightmare that surpasses many others on that list of failures.
3) Is there room in your globalist worldview and agenda to spend a small amount of time representing the people who elected you? You lack the honesty, integrity, and gravitas to even contemplate such grandiose accomplishments. In closing, your thoughts on world democracy are not dreams, they are fantasies, try not to confuse the two.
I am convinced that the more they say “democracy” the less they care about it.
Great passage in Aristophanes’ Wasps about misusing such terminology. I’ll find it when I have time.
Just another one of our won he needs a rope
Well, he’s 100% wrong, having a secure border is not “playing into the hands of China and Russia” at all, just the opposite, I am certain China benefits from the porous state of the southern border, and Putin has shown the world what he thinks of borders, so what the heck is old Chuckie smoking to get to that conclusion? It’s really past time to take the old stock off the shelves before it starts to stink, oh sorry, too late for that. Clean up on aisle one.
World democracy is a code for globalist power and control in all nations and an end to national sovereignty. Anyone who uses this code reveals they are working for the Soros-Schwab-Gates agenda and not the people who elected them to office. They use the same terminology in all countries, but what they mean is “obey Davos and shut up.” That is not any kind of democracy, it is global tyranny. The responsibility of the U.S. government at all levels is to resist it, not co-operate with it. I believe it is a form of treason in each country — imagine the result if a political leader said “we should co-operate with Chinese democracy” as democracy is a term they also use for their form of totalitarian one-party rule. But this is no different. The response to it should be the same — trial for sedition.
Translation: when a leftist says “democracy”, he means socialism.
How many headlines are we going to read where ...whatever the Right wants to do will:
THREATEN WORLD DEMOCRACY.
Soooo, who cares...we are not a democracy...we are a REPUBLIC, more sane, more equal, more civilized and BEST OF ALL...the Left HATES IT, WHICH SHOULD CAUSE MORE SUPPORT FOR IT.
If it’s what democrats call democracy count me in for a vote.
It needs to be killed before it kill us.
Wasps, 486—503
ChorusNo, no way, never! Not even when there’s bugger all left of me. I won’t stop arguing with a man who wants to be our tyrant.486
MisocleonNo matter what issue is being talked about, whether it’s important or not, off you go turning it into a discussion about tyranny or conspiracy. I haven’t heard these words for at least fifty years but now, they’re like sardines in the market place. They’re everywhere! If someone, for example, wants to buy trout but reject the anchovy, the offended anchovy seller looks at him and says, “this gourmet prefers tyranny!” Or if you want a free onion to add a bit of taste to your dish, there’d be an offended cabbage vendor who’d cry out at you, “ah, so you prefer tyranny, ey? Do you think the Athenian’s taxes should be used to grow spices for the likes of you?”
XanthiasYesterday afternoon I visited my whore and asked her to ride me. “Well,” she screamed at me, “you want to bring in Hippias’ junta back, do you?”500
MisocleonThat’s the sort of stuff they love hearing about! But now I want my father to stop all this torture. No more waking up at the crack of Dawn and running off to sue everyone and everything and to serve in the jury. I want him to drop all these trouble-seeking habits and live a life of sweet rest, like that of Morychus. That’s why they call me a conspirator and a lover of tyranny.
