How did you reach that conclusion?
And as to Iran's fear of America's military or lack thereof, we are a country divided right now. Iran has a great deal to fear when it comes to the MAGA crowd and the MAGA contingent within the Pentagon (and there is one, however much it might be keeping a very low profile).
