State field director predicts second, even first in Iowa Live by the slogan, die by the slogan. Careful Paulbots, you are putting your boy's whole campaign on the line with this sort of talk If he ends up out of the running in Iowa now, his campaign is finished just like Dean's was.

Conventionally, there are either two or three tickets out of Iowa to go to NH. Given the presence of a leftwinger (Giuliani) in the GOP field, that rule may need to be revisited. For instance, I don't think Fred Thompson should drop out if he gets a fourth or lower in either IA or NH.
Maybe it is you who should be more careful about setting such gates for candidate credibility, not us RP supporters.
For instance, if Mitt takes #1 in IA/NH, Ron Paul and McCain take #2 & #3 in both contests, would you then say that Fred and Rudi and the others should all just drop out? Well, of course not.
Try to be consistent if you want people to debate you seriously.
BTW, Johnnie, have you declared for a candidate yet? Just curious.
