These are pretty routine, look them up and you will that we launched in 2023, and the years before that.
Yes they are. The USAF routinely conducts Fleetwide Operational Test Evaluation (FOTE shots). They take random missiles from the field and configure them for test and flight safety then launch under operational conditions. This has been done since the 1960's.
I was in the squadron that prepared the launch facilities (394th) and we did seven FOTE shots in the 2+ years I was assigned there. One set was back-to back within days of each other and one was a dual launch on the same launch command. Boeing did a few launches of their own during that time too. So that was about 10 Minuteman launches overall while I was there.
OBTW, these test articles are selected about two years in advance of the launch. That would mean they have very little to do with current political events.
It doesn't look like any planned demo maneuver. None of their online youtube videos show anything like that. The youtube also only shows three ship demo flying, not the six in this video.
He is getting more free campaign time with this than he could ever have bought.
A lot of people made up their minds today and campaigns will have little impact especially since the rats have (coincidentally) announced they will anoint pudding head ahead of the convention.

The pendulum swings both ways on this. We are learning a lot about Russian and Chinese hardware effectiveness. Tell me who wants to be a crewmember in a T-90 tank.
Most of the learning curve is not in the hardware itself, it is in the countermeasures. The new frontier is in the electronic battlefield.
