Dr. Phil McGraw has urged people to plan their resistance against the next time the government attempts to lock down the civilian population. Addressing the audience on his eponymous show, McGraw explained how he had been demonized for his stance against the tyrannical COVID lockdowns but has since been proven right. Now, McGraw is urging people to prepare for the next time governments attempt to shut the schools and place an entire population under house arrest: When I stepped up in the beginning and said this lockdown is going to create more problems with quality of life than COVID is...

Using taxpayer money to fund such controversial initiatives is a blatant misuse of public funds. Children should not be subjected to irreversible medical procedures such as sex change surgery and puberty blockers without thorough consideration and understanding of the long-term consequences. It's appalling that a state representative would prioritize pushing a divisive agenda over the well-being and safety of our children. This must be met with vehement opposition and calls for accountability!

Ohio’s Republican governor, Mike DeWine, signed an “emergency” executive order Friday banning transgender surgeries for minors, one week after he vetoed a bill that would have had a similar effect. The bill would also have banned cross-sex hormones and so-called puberty blockers for children, measures DeWine’s executive order apparently omits. The bill would also have addressed fairness in women’s sports, an issue DeWine’s order also does not address. DeWine vetoed House Bill 68, the Enact Ohio Saving Adolescents from Experimentation Act, last week. The bill would bar physicians from performing gender-reassignment surgery on a minor and from prescribing cross-sex hormones...

It’s only with the help of outside, nationally-funded groups like HRC that this radical amendment has a shot at passing.Radical LGBT activist group Human Rights Campaign endorsed an amendment on the Ohio ballot this fall, even linking it to “LGBTQ+ rights,” after leftists and their allies in the corporate media spent months insisting the amendment had nothing to do with gender experiments. The constitutional amendment in question, which voters will decide on in November, would enshrine abortion up until birth in the Ohio Constitution and also override parental consent laws for gender-dysphoric minors seeking irreversible surgeries and disfiguring hormone injections.HRC,...

“It was mentioned by my colleagues on the other side of the aisle, several times, that we don’t understand this process,” began Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.). “And so, for the sake of clarity, really, I’d like to show a video, a brief interview that was conducted [with] an expert in gender reassignment surgeries from Oregon’s health care system.”

One of the first studies into the side effects of transgender surgeries has revealed alarmingly high rates of post-op pain, aching during intercourse, and bladder problems, raising troubling questions for this new frontier of medicine. A huge majority - 81 percent - of those who had surgery on their genitals in the past five years said they endured pain simply from moving around in the weeks and months after going under the knife. Researchers from the University of Florida and Brooks Rehabilitation, a health non-profit, showed that more than half of trans surgery patients endured pain during sex, and nearly...

Russia’s lower house of parliament on Friday passed a bill banning any “medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person” as part of a batch of laws aimed at combating LGBTQ propaganda. The thrice-reviewed bill, which must still be approved by the upper chamber, the Federation Council, and signed by President Vladimir Putin to take effect, only permits gender “reassignment” surgery to treat congenital physical abnormalities in children. The law also bans people who have attempted to surgically change their sex from becoming adoptive parents or guardians and provides for the ability to annul a marriage if either spouse “changes”...

President Joe Biden said Tuesday at the White House that Republican bans on transgender surgeries were transphobic and connected to anti-semitism. “Folks, racism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia — they’re all connected,” he said. The president spoke about laws passed by Republican states to make irreversible gender transitioning procedures for children illegal, arguing they were transphobic and inspired by hate. “We need to challenge the hundreds of callous and cynical laws introduced in the states targeting transgender children, terrifying families, and criminalizing doctors who give children the care they need,” he said.

The American Civil Liberties Union threatened a Memphis hospital with complaints to the Department of Health and Human Services and the Office for Civil Rights if it does not resume transgender surgeries for patients before the end of 2022, according to the Daily Mail. Now, the hospital says it will be "moving forward" with the surgeries before the end of the year. The ACLU threatened Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare with a lawsuit on behalf of a 19-year-old named Chris Evans whose surgery, scheduled for early December, was canceled. Evans allegedly suffers from gender dysphoria, and according to the ACLU, his...

If young adults can make permanent, major changes to their bodies, they can repay the money they borrowed to go to college. On Wednesday, President Joe Biden announced plans to “forgive” $10,000-$20,000 of student loans, circumventing Congress while simultaneously violating the U.S. Constitution and federal law. Not only is this plan illegal, as the president doesn’t have the authority to spend unappropriated money, but it is downright offensive to those of us who paid off our student loans. It is even more offensive that the same people who insist that young people shouldn’t be burdened by their outstanding loan balances tend...

Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott asked the state’s hospitals Monday to consider postponing all elective surgeries Monday in order to combat a surge in hospitalizations due to COVID-19. In a letter to the Texas Hospital Association, Abbott asked medical centers to “to take steps to ensure the availability of adequate hospital capacity to care for COVID-19 patients.” In addition to rescheduling elective procedures “for which delay will not result in loss of life or a deterioration in the patient’s condition.” Abbott also ordered the opening of five new centers to provide antibody treatments for COVID-19 in addition to an existing...

The UK’s coronavirus lockdown has impacted every area of healthcare, including cancer treatment, paediatrics, and cardiovascular care, resulting in excess deaths and delays to treatment, according to analysis. Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures had already revealed on Monday that there were 25,000 excess deaths at private homes since the beginning of the year — with only nine per cent being as a result of coronavirus. Another piece of analysis predicted excess deaths would rise directly as a result of the government’s “Protect the NHS” message which deterred people from making medical appointments.

Tracy Doherty was let go from her job as a pediatric nurse at Valley View Hospital in early May. The hospital’s CEO is projecting $30-45 million in lost income this year, which led to staff cuts. ... Her line of work usually comes with some stability, so she was surprised when she was laid off earlier this month. “Being a nurse you kind of never expect to lose your job,” Doherty said. “I knew they were going to be cutting staff, but I didn't think it would be nursing staff.” Valley View let go of about 100 employees, or roughly...

It may seem odd that hospitals are empty as planned medical procedures are canceled, but to subject your body to the stress of surgery and recovery would put you in danger needlessly. The recent article “I Can’t Get My Hip Surgery Because Of Coronavirus Even Though Nobody Is In Our Hospital” highlighted the very real problems coronavirus has created in all our communities. It is true that necessary preparations have compounded challenges and left many suffering in ways that are not immediately obvious. As a physician dealing with COVID-19, I have a different perspective. My heart goes out to you, Anonymous....
