The new overtime rules are causing great pain and confusion in the farm world. And surprise, even DOL cannot explain what qualifies or how its calculated.
I suspect this is the real reason for high prices and lower quality. That and supply issues.

There was a law past in the mid 90’s that any interpreted regulation had to go back to congress for final approval. IF this was not done, it was as if the regulation never existed.
I was starting to get involved with this with representative steve king and his staff and Trumps staff when the elections were stolen.
At the time it was being implemented very selectively by Trump. Maybe learning how it works. But also, if implemented with broad strokes, it would create a lot of chaos.
Trump and his staff are very much aware the democrats NEVER followed the law regarding this.
I repeat the words, the regulation is gone, like it never existed.
