If Noem wants to counter all the negative publicity over the killing of her dog, all she has to do is point people to the number of dogs who are put down every year because they killed someone else’s pet or worse, killed a person. Granted, on a percentage basis, fatal dog attacks are rare, but they do happen - fifteen in 2023 alone.

Absolutely. Those who put the life of a dangerous dog over the lives of its victims are the ones who need to explain themselves. Not Noem.

It's all about Trump. No one is voting for or against him based on a running mate. He should pick someone he thinks would be a successor. Someone who is a like minded individual with the stones of a Donald Trump. If there are any.

A good successor, based on his record as governor of Florida, would be Ron DeSantis, but I'm not sure Trump will do that.

I hope he does, and I don't care about the two guys from the same state issue [which would only matter in a close race and would only possibly effect the VP].

While DeSantis is not dynamic, he is a great manager and would fit well in '28.

He’s a good guy.

And a squishy Republican. Not terribly conservative. More pragmatic. I’m much more ideological. So I’d prefer an ideologue.
