This is the first time I've thought the GOP will lose the House in the midterms. If Trump signs this #omnibus bill, we're through. I suspect Trump does not realize how many people have tolerated his antics solely because he was doing conservative things. He's about to find out.

This bill is not irrelevant. This bill is the foundation of the next two years of campaigning against Trump. It’s projected the current FY deficit will be $1+ trillion. Democrats will blame Trump’s tax cut for the big deficit “after obama righted the economy and brought down Bush’s massively irresponsible overspending. Now Trump has brought Bushism back and we’re dangerously risking another massive recession.”

Make no mistake, this bill is meant to steal away Trump’s greatest economic achievement. And you can count on the democrat press to run with that story up through the election.

With this piece of crap becoming law upon Trump’s signature, the ‘RATS and open-border globalist RINOs will have achieved something beyond their wildest hopes — the weapon that will give the ‘RATS the House and a Senate with the Republicans barely hanging on to merely a VERY slim majority.

Republicans are indeed the STUPID PARTY and, unfortunately, Trump will be joining them in their STUPID state. Trump’s agenda will be dead, his chances of a second term will evaporate and open-borders and Amnesty will prevail.

If the Congress overrides the veto by a two-thirds vote in each house, it becomes law without the President’s signature.

I am telling you right now, regardless of the omnibus bill, Republicans will lose the house in the fall if they plan on using the messaging they used in PA-18 for the fall. The omnibus could have built the wall, thrown out every illegal, defunded planned parenthood, hell it could have been the second coming... and if the republican plan for the fall campaign is the same messaging the entire GOP ecosphere blasted in PA-18 they will still lose the house.
