In short: The Deep State media game afoot here is to protect the Deep State buddies by slow-rolling out the news that affects them negatively -- and if possible keeping that news from the public and Congress. But any news that can help sabotage the President? That is to be leaked ASAP. The Deep State web is vast, intricate, cohesive, and until recently very well concealed. It encompasses far more than just the federal government itself, and is by no means geographically limited to the DC environs. That all begins to sound like just another nutty conspiracy theory at that point, but there is no conspiracy necessary. These are people who think the same way, believe the same things, travel in the same social and career circles, were “educated” in the same schools, and have the same goals. The narrow congruence of view is the product of shallow, groupthinking drones, stilted both mentally and verbally, not any formal backroom plotting. Fleshing out details of the Deep State's existence by imagining a single puppetmaster (or a cabal of them) issuing directives and coordinating actions is neither necessary nor particularly useful in destroying it. The mules are a team -- one that's already in harness, and can only pull in one direction.

Yes the deep state is ideological, but the fundamental goal is self enrichment. Whether it is directly through corruption such as selling US secrets, assets, etc. or promises of enrichment via more powerful people like the Clintons, Soros, etc., etc.
Liberals want two things: Power and the perks that come with it.
Liberal goals: Destruction of Israel; Slowing down the US economy/military so other countries (like China) can pass us; elimination of the need for black votes and the elimination of the blacks themselves. They hold a grudge forever.
Enough so that Trump can’t handle it.
Patriot goals: Annihilate the deep state. Each and everyone of them. Show no mercy.

President Trump—even before the 2016 election—was apparently able to "handle" the Deep State well enough to win the Presidency!
Not to shabby, eh? That kind of undermines your silly little theory, doesn't it? Especially when considered in light of several significant he's been able to do since assuming office—even against the backdrop of an ongoing coup attempt.

Be very afraid as trump signs his politican death warrant and we enter an age of turmoil never seen in-our lived .
There’s way too much panic going on.
What we see as a Deep State is what CS Lewis wrote about as an inner circle. There isn’t any formal constitution for it. It is constructed of nods and winks.
It’s what we get in a country where a lot of people pretend we’re Christian when we aren’t anymore. The devil won’t be evicted from this playground till that’s reversed — and only evangelists can urge it on. Politicians can’t. No law can put it in a single room let alone in all our buildings of state.

The pollsters are doing exactly what they were two years ago. If the Democrats take the House in November, the Deplorables will have only themselves to blame—aside from the cowardly and anti-Trump GOPe, who will forever bear the overwhelming bulk of the responsibility for any losses which are incurred.
We should all (as Mr. Scott once said) be "mad enough to chew neutronium", and we should vote accordingly this November—not because of the GOPe (who are uniformly traitors) but in spite of them...
