Despite many Democrats and their media allies now trying to find excuses for Joe Biden to NOT debate Donald Trump, James Carville claims to be looking forward to such debates because he said that Biden will "TROUNCE" Trump. Apparently Carville is seeing a highly alert Joe Biden with all pistons firing that the rest of us mere mortals are not aware of.
Now that is even funnier than watching the debate.
Let’s not be suspicious of Democrats here. This could be a rope-a-dope by Biden. He’ll appear confused heading into the debates and be sharper and more alert. Or they’ll adjust his Aricept or whatever he might be taking.

Unfortunately there is some truth in what you say. He owned Palin and Ryan in past VP debates. Mix in blood doping to increase Biden's mental accuity, a sympathetic line of questions from DNC hand picked moderators, and Trump could wind up being portrayed as something less than presidential.
And yet Lyin’ Ryan still lost that debate to gropey joe.

Trump's the opposite - his words wouldn't shine but Trump's a man of action... and anything Trump builds reflects his knowledge and expertise... Trump can build beautiful skyscrapers... Carville and Biden can't... they 'talk'. Carville and Biden can't build an economy either ... they 'talk'. Beautiful words that support crap like 'cash for clunkers'...
But if the debate is between Biden, the four liberal elite moderators working for Joe and against Trump, Trump will win. And that's assuming some unethical democrat member of the press will 'leak' the questions to Joe's handlers...

Is Carville Senile?
When he’s not suffering foot in mouth disease, Biden is far and away the better debater whereas Trump is the big picture pitch man. If Joe is on form, yeah, he is the better debater, but what you also have to consider WHAT positions he will be defending. I think Trump has a lower bar to meet because he is the incumbent, and because he was right about China when absolutely every other elite we had swallowed the koolaid. My feeling is, though, that the Dems are going to bait-and-switch. They have proposed all sorts of insane things but coming into the fall they will be proposing reasonable sounding things. Round about September they will have a platform that sounds reasonable, but since they have spent months/years torturing Trump and the Republicans, the GOP will still be arguing against the crazy crap, which will make them look insane, while at the same time they won’t be weighing in on the new proposals, letting the Dems get everything they ask for by default.
The Republicans are not defining the race, they are letting the Democrats define the race. Trump the big picture guy can still change all of that, and that is the danger for Joe Biden. Not debating Trump lets Trump do what he does best, plus it makes people wonder if the rumors are true about Biden failing. Everyone knows he’s a strong debater, so if a guy with a known advantage refuses to show, that looks bad, and people start talking and asking inconvenient questions.

Yes, the 2012 Joe Biden could potentially school Trump.
I met Joe Biden in NH on July 4th in 2007. He came to the Amherst, NH parade all by himself. No entourage. No bus loads of supporters all wearing Biden 2008 t shirts. He drove up all by himself. He spoke to him for 15 minutes. This was long before Obama picked him to be his running mate.
He was good ol Joe back then. A regular guy. A union Democrat that used to call into Don Imus show about once a week and BS with the IMan. He was actually quite likeable. I kind of felt sorry for him because he did not have a chance. As I said above, he did not show up with a bus load of supporters.
The guy on TV now is not that same ol Joe. His mental capacity has slipped a lot in the last 13 years. Either he has early onset Alzheimers or dementia. Maybe both. Maybe not early. Joe is old now. He is not sharp. Trump will crush him in a debate. It will not be pretty. It will be kind of sad.
I personally find it hard to believe that his Dr. WIFE is allowing them to put him through this. I am sure she knows much more than anyone else how far his mental capacity has diminished in the last several years.
Well, duh. Not only will the moderators aks Sleepy Joe the questions but they’ll answer them for him, too.
His “Doctor” wife has a phd in education. Probably “honorary.”
And now your response Joe. You know the thing. Joe you can’t use that answer for every question. What question?
