Rep Ron Paul (R)(TX-22) "No evidence Iran is developing a nuclear weapon"

Posted on 09/29/2011 5:36:33 AM PDT by Perdogg

Ron Paul was on WMAL this morning and he just said there is no evidence Iran is developing a nuclear weapon. He also said that Iran needs to develop weapons because the countries around them have nuclear weapons. Then he said if they did get nuclear weapons it would not matter since Stalin had nuclear weapons and we never used them. I guess he does not understand the concept of Nash equilibrium.

I was listening to him on my way in to work a few minutes ago. WMAL has done a great service to the country getting him on the air ...

Ron Paul demonstrated why he is not a serious candidate for the President. I like his domestic economy ideas, everything else ... his views are whacko.

This is exactly why Wrong Paul is completely unfit for the job of President. He resides in a completely different reality.

Ron Paul is such an anti-semite that he doesn’t care if Iran develops the technology to blow up the region and thrust the entire world into chaos. He’s a very dangerous little snake disguised as a kindly country Dr.

I for one am getting sick of his antics. I think its time to run him out of the GOP.

“Rep Ron Paul (R)(TX-22) “No evidence Iran is developing a nuclear weapon””

Ron Paul on December 6th, 1941:
“No evidence that Japan has any hostile intention. The warmongering industrialist big bankers are just trying to scare us.”

Imagine how many bomb shelters would be built in back yards if Paul were to be elected president.

“Imagine how many bomb shelters would be built in back yards if Paul were to be elected president.”

Perhaps that is his secret strategy for jump-starting the economy. Paul was on The Daily Show this week: Jon Stewart appears to like him quite a bit. A friend of Jon Stewart probably is not our friend...

I’ll address his points. Everyone on the planet knows Iran is developing nuclear weapons and delivery systems. Only hardcore leftists and isolationists refuse to acknowledge that fact. Anyone in Paul’s position that makes such obviously wrong statements is directly undermining the security of this nation and others.

Doctor Demento indeed.

He made some points? Could you tell me what points he addressed?

Because his points are nuts, it is like trying to address the homeless guy walking down the street talking about the voices in his head.

BUT if you want to talk the points- how is it in the US’s interest that Iran- who is on the State Department’s sponsor of terrorism list, is able to be armed with nuclear weapons? How is his comparison to the cold war even slightly apt when dealing with a group of people who believe bringing their own death is their highest goal? How is Run Paul in any way a Constitutionalist when he wants to overtly reject our multiple defense treaties with Israel (after all, the Constitution calls treaties ‘high law’- the only thing outside itself that is referred to as such)? How is Run Paul in any way a ‘non-interventionist’ when he, as an agent of the US government, overtly supports our enemies such as in this interview? It seems he is only non-interventionist when something is in the US’s interest but if it is our enemies interest, he sure doesn’t mind intervening against us.

Ron Paul is a treasonous old career politician. He is in no was a ‘Constitutionalist’, he is in no way a Conservative.
