Different sites show different patterns.

This one shows one tiny cloud move through.

When I started my car (after work @ 3:30), the thermometer read 114 outside. Ten minutes later, it had “dropped” to 112. I’m thinking bs, but then I checked the weather app on my phone and it said 111 in Irving, TX.

This is what some apparently call “indoors season” ... it’s what is between early summer and fall.

I suspect you folks might have one heck of a thunder storm pop up and it could pop up PDQ.

I never heard of this before which I heard on the radio earlier,

A front from sub-Saharan Africa and it will go as North as Chicago. Maybe that’s it? Bringing in hot air.

0% chance of precipitation, the humidity is only at 24%, so it’s a “dry heat”.

If you go to the link provided by the original poster and then click the National Loop button, you will see that the red blob above Dallas is an anamoly as regards to the rest of the country. As such, it is far from “normal”.

Oh freddled gruntbuggly
Thy micturations are to me, as plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes.
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon,
See if I don’t!
