That's the perfect choice with the perfect timing. The NRA needs all of the support that we can give now. It appears that many influential bureaucrats are much supported by billionaires and others in their efforts to impose gun control on the people of the United States.

And the midterm elections are approaching. Watch out.

Also, while providing information on some of the choices for the recent Supreme Court nomination, we saw in arguments and conspiracy theories posted in comments, that quite a few FReepers are probably in favor of gun control.

It shouldn't be a surprise, really, because a sizable portion of Republicans--especially in some blue states--are in favor of gun control and other efforts of the left while wanting abortion to be made illegal. Curious, that. And of course, as with other conservative discussion boards, there are Democrats in our midst.

I'd use the money to join other pro-2nd Amendment [JFPO. GOA, etc] or your state's organization. Or, if your state doesn't have one, check out your neighboring states.

If you figure this makes me something less than a avid cheerleader for Wayne LaPierre the Poodle, you'd be correct. And here's a couple of the reasons why. We had to fight the NRA to get Constitutional Carry passed in Wyoming in 2013, and until LaPierre and his fellow Beltway Swamp Sellouts are out of the leadership, I'm out of the membership.
