Fox news offered the WORST election coverage EVER! With sheer delight they announced WHILE PEOPLE WERE STILL VOTING in the west that the house was going to be won by the Democrats.
To me it seemed like a calculated effort to suppress the vote to make sure that there would be divided government.
I'm sure they calculated that ratings would increase with the shenanagans that the democrats will pull in the next two years. Well, they will not increase ratings in my house. I will never watch them again. They make me sick. Also with the smiling idiot that kept saying how "pleased" he was with this outcome. I'm done. Deleted them from my channels.

Same here. Should be criminal prosecution for election tampering against Fox and NBC for that despicable call.
Fox Biz was a little better.
John King on CNN was actually the best last night. Rest of CNN are leftist peons. King, however, was doing an excellent job.
I tuned in last night, and as soon as I saw Bret Baier and Prissy Chrissy were announcing the results, I tuned out again.
And, you’re right, announcing the loss of the house before voting was even finished was unacceptable - as was their criticizing Hannity for appearing at the final Trump rally.

I agree 100%. The fact that they called the House for the Democrats while 50% of the nation were still voting was stunning. The bunch of know-it-all windbags they had on all night was distracting and annoying. FOX is dead to me...

Even that aside their coverage was horrendous.
Even I watched CNN just for a better all round election show.

I tried to watch them starting at about 7:30 eastern time, but it was just talking head pontificating. Boring. I would go to Youtube and watch the latest batch of dash cam crash videos, come back, and still just rambling by a bunch of people I don’t know. Then I’d play a little Gran tourismo and come back, Same thing.
What a waste of bandwidth. I finally went to bed at 9 and figured I’d find out in the morning what happened.
It’s kinda weird. About a year ago it hit me that Trump’s election was almost certainly divine intervention and the Kavanaugh thing sealed that deal. In a very real way I’m glad the D’s won the house because this will shine the light, even more, on who they are. It may have needed to happen to bring us to the next phase of God’s plan.
Because I believe He is in complete control, I have a weird and deep peace about this election and pretty much everything political these days.
We are in for a very interesting two years.

But anyway, I believe all networks are clearly allowed to project winners and losers in races where the polls have officially closed, but where the poster’s gripe has some credibility is the fact that they were projecting the state of the whole house (without calling each seat) before all of them closed. Not a technical foul but certainly not perfectly without merit in regards to influence, but your gripe is tenuous, because they never called any seat, and it’s every voter’s responsibility to vote for his representation and issues from the local level to the federal, regardless of what’s happening elsewhere.
If you’re just now figuring out Fox News is Leftist but has a few conservatives from previous marketing decisions, you’re not savvy enough to post an interesting vanity.
Just sayin’.
