Standard political and social issue con game. There is for ever and always two, and ONLY two, possible choices.

I completely agree!!!

I don’t understand why the “must vaxxers” treat the anti vaxxers the same way the media treats Conservatives...

Only anti vaxxers would catch the disease - that is, unless the vaccinations really don’t work. But then, that would make the case for the anti vaxxers.

Patrick Henry would have been an anti-vaxxer.

“I don’t remember ever having measles, but I remember being kept out of summer day camp as an almost 8 yo because of chicken pox.”

LOL. When I was 5 and my sister was 3 the parents left us with a sitter for a day. She brought us around to visit her friends and family. Everybody commented on all the “mosquito” bites we had at the time. It was chicken pox. We infected half the town.

“And its also very disingenuous to notice all these migrants are diseased, and to completely overlook that they are coming from countries where they do not get vaccinations. The foreigners are from nations of anti-vaxers.”

It used to be that immigrants that had even a hint of illness were placed in quarantine. “Quarantine” coming from the Latin root for “forty” - as in 40 days. Our great grandparents’ generation was a lot smarter than about half of the population these days.

As a kid, I had measles, mumps, and chicken pox. Most kids I knew at that time also survived these outbreaks. So I don’t really understand the big uproar about 700 cases of the measles in a country of over 300 MILLION people.

measels is not as bad other illnesses that can be vaccinated against, I think people have a certain vaccine load they can take, when you overload that you get autoimmune disorders and increase in other autoimmune related disorders.

The veterinary profession has been taking this into consideration, even though vaccination is its bread-and-butter service.

“Two-thirds of the population of Europe survived the Black Death.”

Which means 1/3 did not. Not exactly the kind of thing people tout as a public health victory.

“Plus the only ones who will get measles are those not vaccinated...”

Not really true, since vaccines are not 100% effective.

But the government/pharma industry propaganda is that the vaccines ARE 100% effective, and are safer than eating ice cream. All demonstrably untrue.

And when the government + a major industry go to these extents to lie to me, it gets my antennae up.

It's a huge victory when you haven't got modern agriculture, modern hygiene, and the entire gamut of wonderful things that give us natural immunity to even very virulent diseases, let alone the innocuous ones.

No airports, minimal travel, die within 10 miles of where you were born, kill/ban outsiders from entering village who look sick....pretty easy to suffer ONLY 33% morbidity!
