Summary from this guy:

“The Rise of Skywalker is my least favorite of the 9 core saga films” that comment made by Jeremy literally scares me about this move. I always thought The Last Jedi was the worst of the 3 trilogies so hearing this isn’t good

Based on sites like “Geeks and Gamers” all the bad news, hack plot devices, and like that were leaking are true. Not giving Disney a cent for this ***t.

The worst part is Disney using this crap trilogy of movies as material for their attractions at the parks.

One thing I will say for these recent Star Wars movies: they always make me appreciate the last one a little more.

Was there any requisite gay content in it?

Apparently Abrams put EVERYTHING into this one in a desperate attempt to “wrap it all up”, and fails miserably. It looks fantastic but I am told it is a frenetic mess that resolves nothing at all.

Supposedly two of Mary Sue’s companions at the end get someplace private...

I read that it has the first LGBTQ+ scene ever in a Disney movie...two women kissing passionately (in the background) after their fleet wins a big battle. Isn’t that just special?

Touchstone films never went there?

I may never see this one but I do have a question:

Which Skywalker? This film comes after The Last Jedi in which Luke either dies or disappears. So if he is the titular Skywalker, then the only 'Rise' would be from the dead or a transition from his current form.

Or, is Rey actually from the line of Skywalker? I admit I haven't been keeping up on all the details of her existence but this one puzzles me. Who the Frak is this Skywalker who is doing the Rising in this film?

The last Star Wars film I saw was the one in 1996 that revived the series. I found it inferior to Star Wars II (1980) and III (1983), neither of which measured up to the first Star Wars film of 1977, the only one that I watched multiple times.

Rumor has it she’s the Emperor’s granddaughter and after she defeats him assumes the Skywalker name.

They erased Luke Skywalker and supplanted his entire story arc with their Mary Sue.

rey is nobody, they already covered this.

the only skywalker left is Kilo Ren, and I am guessing he will die in this one ending the Skywalker line.

I suspect that they are twisting Skywalker into a title, rather than a family name. I may never know.

In his recent video, Overlord DVD, who goes by the full name of Diktor von Doomcock, spells out Rey’s supposed lineage. The information comes from someone who has worked on the film.
I hesitate to say what it is, because the information, if true, is a total slap in the face of any and every true Star Wars fan. Go and watch it for yourself.
The information is in the video (on YouTube) where Doomcock talks about why George Lucas himself wasn’t invited to the world premiere of the end of the very story that he began. That, in itself, is a damnable statement.

Hard to believe it could be worse than Last Jedi.

There were more than three Star Wars films?

So how many of these ‘star wars’ movies do they have now? 15? 20? I’ve seen one...and that was around 1976. The effects were interesting, the story line was childish and a little kids movie.

Star Wars is still a thing? That reboot movie was Uwe Boll bad. It’really only the first two movies that are good. In reverse order.
